 October 25th, 2003  "Sensory Approaches to Managing Behaviors" - This will cover classic behaviors that are driven to meet sensory needs such as, self stimulation, meltdowns, need for control, etc.  Prevention and interventions will be discussed and practiced.  The presentation will be 1 hour 45 minutes with 15 minutes for questions.  It will be presented by Judith Schmidt, OTR.
 November 22nd, 2003  "Fine Motor Prep" and "Handwriting Without Tears" - This will contain activities which support fine motor development for all skill levels.  Specific games and activities for strengthening the hand will also be discussed.  The second half of the presentation will give ideas for improving handwriting (letter and number spacing, formation, etc.) from the Handwriting Without Tears program by Jan Olsen.  The presentation will be 1 hour 45 minutes with 15 minutes for questions.  It will be presented by Megan Reppenhagen, OTR.
 January 24th, 2004  "Cranial, Sacral and Manual Therapy for Children" - Sandra Glovak, OTR will present on the structure of the myofascial tissue, palpitation skills, how to do generalized tissue releases on the body and how to support self healing.  Dress comfortably and be prepared to lie on a table and learn hands on techniques.  The presentation will be 1 hour and 45 minutes with 15 minutes for questions.
 March 13th, 2004  "Oral Motor Strategies for Eating, Articulation, and Drive for       Oral/mouth Information" - Erin Dunkerley Momola, MS, OTR will provide training in oral activities to increase awareness, decrease hypersensitivity and improve oral muscle strength and movement.  Other sensory strategies and techniques that support oral development will be discussed.  There will be hands on practice of some techniques.  Gloves will be provided (let us know of latex allergies).  The presentation will be 1 hour and 45 minutes with 15 minutes for questions.

              Class will be from 2:30 - 4:30 at the clinic costing $25.00 for each workshop.
